Meet Our Staff
Bruce has been immersed in the specialized world of highly engineered imported automobiles since 1985 -- first in Buffalo, NY and now at our four acre service and sales center in coastal Maine.
Bruce is a Bosch Trained technician, with extensive experience in BMW, Mercedes, Volvo and other imported favorites. A Dale Carnegie graduate, and former volunteer with Junior Achievement, in his spare time Bruce enjoys sailing, nautical history and restoring antique radios. He's also a licensed amateur radio operator, W1UJR, and has a highly satisfying working relationship with electronics and computers.
Bruce is proud to lead a team of extremely skilled, trained, motivated and certified technicians who are readily able to diagnose today's complex vehicle systems. He and his crew share your passion for these fine automobiles.
Rick brings a wealth of more than 15 years of experience in the automotive service field to the post, on top of some very impressive factory and Bosch training. In addition, Rick is both an ASE and Subaru Master Technician, and he's our designated "go to guy" for some of the more unusual cars we service and problems we are challenged with.
No stranger to AMC, Rick has been affiliated with some our team members for well over 10 years. He currently drives a "Saabaroo" and hopefully -- soon -- a Jaguar XJ-6 — but's that's whole `nuther story. Ask him, he'll be happy to share.
When you visit our extensive pre-owned car sales selection of Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Lexus and other great vehicles, you'll no doubt speak with Dave. He hails from western Mass and has an extensive background in the automotive sales business, which is attested to by his sparkling personality and his ever-ready smile.
Veteran Dave is retired from the U.S. Coast Guard, which is why he's so squared away and does an outstanding job managing our sales division. Always there with a pleasant smile, Dave honchos our Vehicle Sales Division, where he evaluates trade-ins, handles car sales and works closely with our various banks to arrange financing for customer's vehicle purchases.
Dave's your guy if you're interested in purchasing one of our fine, affordable cars, selling yours outright or just trading in. Stop by and say hello the next time you're in, Dave's never met a stranger and his desk is next to the Business Office.
When you receive a call after service with us, that friendly voice on the other end of the phone is our Amy. She handles our customer satisfaction duties to everyone's great satisfaction, as well as appointment reminders and follow up calls after service.
When you receive a call after service with us, that friendly voice on the other end of the phone is our Amy. She handles our customer satisfaction duties to everyone's great satisfaction, as well as appointment reminders and follow up calls after service. Actually, Amy's responsibilities are far more extensive and invaluable — as she assists with the sea of paperwork in vehicle sales and is in charge of our "Help A Maine Family In Need" and "Local Art Display" programs. Plus, Miss Amy reviews all our ad copy, rides herd on payroll and employee benefits, sends out the thank you cards and brownies, but most of all, adds a level of grace, serenity and order to this sometimes hectic business. Amy hails from upstate New York and in her spare time enjoys reading books, boat rides, and spending time with her grandchildren.
You won't often see her upfront at the service counter since her realm is in the other side of the building, so be sure to stop by for her world-famous smile and say hello on your next visit.
Todd was our all around, take on any challenge and win guy. Rumor has it that he’s now retired to an comfy and warm island off the coast of Georgia, but we hold out hope that he’ll leave that life of leisure and return to his roots.
No flashy toolbox here, Todd’s best tools are in his head, vintage Mitchell service manuals and years of experience. We still quote his trusty tagline which he uttered when faced with a challenge or unusual car, the timeless classic of “Nuts and bolts.” We miss you old man, but and have kept the porch light, or is that service light, on for you.
Those funny boxes with the video screens, those things that rule our lives — computers -- and we currently have 16 of them at the Kusbdc — will soon be in the purview of our good friend Adam.
Be they Apple or PC, Windows or Mac OS, they are but child's play to Adam, who is faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound (very important here in Maine), who can change the course of mighty rivers, bend steel with his bare hands, and who, disguised as Adam K, a mild mannered IT guy by day, fights the never ending battle for Truth, Justice and the Kusbdc Way...(and against the dreaded Fatal Blue Screen Error.)
